No. Your healthcare provider is responsible for your medical care and the health of you and your baby. My role is to complement your care by providing non-medical support, comfort measures, evidence-based education, advocacy through informed decision-making, and continuous emotional support.

I serve families throughout Vancouver and the Greater Vancouver area, including hospital births, birth centres, planned home births, and in-home postpartum visits.

The earlier the better! Most families book during the second trimester, but I welcome inquiries at any stage of pregnancy.

Every family is different. Support may include newborn care, feeding support, emotional support, practical help around the home, evidence-based education, and helping you rest and recover.
